| Kumogakure no sato
The Village Hidden in the Coulds. A very quiet country that possess mountains in abundance. Dark clouds seem to always hang over this shinobi village and thunder can always be heard off in the distance.

| Konohagakure no sato
The Hidden Leaf Village. Konohagakure is the largest great shinobi village by far. Nestled amongst rolling hills and thick, lush forests, Konoha is also the hottest Great Country, aside from Suna.

| Sunagakure no sato
The Village Hidden in the Sand. Sunagakure is located just south west of the infamous leaf village. Its climate is dry and windy, with it being a desert and all. Therefore, many of its occupants are clustered around the scattered oases found in the country. Konoha is an important trading partner and somewhat vital to their survival.

| Kirigakure no sato
Also known as 'The Land of Waves', Kirigakure is located on an island. It prospers from its fishing industry and the such. There are also various other islands located in this country as well, each insistent on keeping their traditions alive, causing conflict sometimes.

| Iwakagure no sato
Also known as the 'Hidden Rock Village', Iwagakure is located to the far north west. It includes numerous caves, mountains, and rigid highlands. It's been said that this is the country where you can see the biggest mushroom, as big as 10 feet.

| Amegakure no sato
The Hidden Village of Rain is most famous for its rogue shinobi. Many missing nin are found here, but the village itself produces a high number of missing shinobi. Constantly raining, you can find the typical Rain shinobi with a straw hat and armed with poisonous needles. This is also where the Akatsuki hideout is located.

| Otogakure no sato
The Village Hidden in the Sound. Located in the Land of Rice Fields, Otogakure was once Orochimaru's village, before he was murdered. Now, Kabuto runs the village along with everyone belonging to it. Sasuke has been apointed his right-hand man, much to the Uchiha's contempt. With Orochimaru gone, Oto's forces are dwindling.

| Takigakure no sato
Also known as the 'Hidden Waterfall Village'. This village is located in the water country, like Kiri. A giant, flowing waterfall obscures the village from outsiders, and only the clever and brave can penetrate it. The village's most prized possession is its Hero Water, guarded by its leader. The Hero Water is a special liquid that doubles the users chakra, but has fatal side affects.

| Wilderness
Unclaimed land that has not yet been claimed by a country. Missing Nin and Rogue ninja roam about, through swamps, valleys, mountains, and just about anything else you can think of. These areas are far off from any countries, therefore, far from civilization.
